I am the mother of two children. My son Travis lives in Purcell, Oklahoma and works at Fowler Toyota of Norman. My daughter Amanda graduated from Era ISD in 2020 and is now attending NCTC while working at The Learning Ladder child care facility in Gainesville.
I was raised near Era and I have family ties to the Era, Rosston and Forestburg communities. My mother was raised on the same farm I grew up on west of Era and graduated from high school there. My father’s family lived between Forestburg and Rosston and he and his siblings attended Freemound, Forestburg and Era schools.
Upon my graduation from Era High School I moved to Gainesville where I lived for the next twenty years. In 2015 I moved to the Rosston community where I currently live with my daughter, my cousin Becky and a large array of cats and dogs.
