   The Forestburg ISD Education Foundation awards Foundation funds through a volunteer board of directors made up of business, community and educational leaders. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit, tax exempt, philanthropic organization of citizens who:

MISSION STATEMENT

   The mission of the Forestburg ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Forestburg ISD to enhance opportunities for all students to acquire a quality education, enabling them to become life-long learners and productive, responsible members of society.

   The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the folowing goals:

Why It Was Established

   Forestburg ISD has long enjoyed a tradition of pride and excellence. It is the desire of the Board of the Forestburg ISD Education Foundation to support this tradition by establishing an organization that would encourage and reward innovation in the classroom now and in the future.

   Taxpayers are making every effort to meet the basic needs of students to provide a quality education for all children. However, the Foundation seeks to provide educational enrichment opportunities for students and faculty beyond that provided by the budget of the Forestburg ISD.

   To advance this mission, a permanent endowment will be created by collecting tax deductible gifts from donors who share our vision. The interest from this endowment will be used to provide solid monetary support for generations of Forestburg ISD students.

Investment Options:

Administration

   The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representative of the communities and businesses serving Forestburg ISD. The Board of Directors seek funds and set policy according to its bylaws. The Education Foundation is a separate legal entity from the Forestburg ISD but cooperates with the district to enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students and Forestburg ISD staff.
