Special Education Coordinator
I graduated from Forestburg High School in 1986. Upon graduation, I attended NCTC, and then Texas Woman’s University.
I obtained my Associates degree in Science from NCTC, and my Bachelors degree of Social Work from Texas Worman’s University. In 2005, I obtained my Texas Teaching Certificate in Special Education from ECAP.
I started teaching at Forestburg ISD in 2005, and I am currently the Special Education Coordinator.
Prior to working at Forestburg ISD, I was a stay at home Mom for seven years with my two sons, Skyler and Riley. Prior to that I worked as a Social Worker for Montague County MHMR.
I have been married to Steve Sandusky for 26 happy years, and we have two sons, Skyler and Riley. Skyler was a 2017 graduate of Forestburg ISD and he currently attends Tarleton State University, and Riley will be a Junior at Forestburg ISD this year.
When I am not teaching I love to paint, restore old furniture, and spend time with my family.
